CM Campbell was born in Evanston Illinois. He has lived in several cities and states, from Atlanta GA to Los Angeles CA, but currently calls Brooklyn home. He received his BA in Fine Art with a studio emphasis at San Francisco State University and his MFA in Comics at California College of the Arts. CM Campbell currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
